In the construction areas on the side of the runway, at the taxiway lighting points and at the airport cargo area, common problems directly affect the ability of vehicles to access the operational surface as planned. Common engineering vehicles, light-maintenance vehicles, rescue security vehicles, excavators and mobile cranes in the field have different dynamic voltages, stationary deviations and power. The construction window is short, the vehicle route is controlled, and any loose parts, mud coming out or local sinking will affect safety and the re-entry rhythm. The programme should, therefore, first target routes and time windows that must be kept open, before arranging for materials and personnel to avoid temporary changes in rules of passage on the construction side.
On-site measurements are to cover the ground level of rubble with uneven pressure and record weak ranges, slopes, drainage directions and underground pipes. The water-bearing state and changes in the car tracks should be observed before and after the cryogenic freeze. Mobile equipment will need to provide the whole vehicle with its own weight, full load weight, a single axle load, tyre size, turn radius and projected duration; the crane will also need to provide the maximum reversibility of the leg and leg extension. Data sources and measurement dates should also be recorded to avoid different versions.
The selection is based on the calculation of the local pressure and the examination of whether the plate remains continuous at the grass-roots level. Low-maintenance HDPE pavements can quickly form a recyclable route, while suspension operations require the retroactivity of legs. The common thickness ranges from 15 mm to 30 mm, and this option can first assess 20 mm and then adjust it through trial preparation or project accounting. The so-called 160 to 200-ton carrier should have a clear test boundary and cannot be cited separately from the distance, temperature, payload distribution and safety factor.

When the plates arrive at the site, the quantity, the connector and the crane are checked and the goods are discharged by route number. Upon completion of the grass-roots level, the vehicle entrance is prepared in sub-sections, and the level and edge support is checked at each stage of completion. The leg area of operation shall be separated from the area of passage. The inclusion in the installation programme of the words “separate the suspension area from the continuous driveway” would allow the field personnel to convert abstract requirements into actionable.
The day-to-day management will include vehicle behaviour in the inspection. Speed-limiting, prohibition of in-situ movement, fixed reverse routes and placement of commanders are often more effective than simply adding plates. The inspectors should touch or step on the suspicious seams, check the links and take photographs to locate them. Where there are repeated shifts, the width of the road, the turn radius and the grass-roots level should be re-evaluated, rather than the continuous consolidation of the same position.
In the case of an airfield light system maintenance project, which was completed with a restricted night window, the site could be divided into five areas during the evacuation site recovery phase. The entry point is responsible for vehicle reconciliation, maintaining continuous coverage of the straight-line segment, increasing the outer width of the turn-band, separate validation of the operating segment and completion of clean bundles in the recovery area. This simulation programme is used to illustrate the methodology and is not a client-specific performance; it helps project teams to synchronize the clean-up and classification of panels when they are evacuated and to keep records of the number of maintenances and the length of breaks.
Auxiliary equipment also affects the overall programme. A leg pad is required to accompany a vehicle, a forklift is required to focus on tyre contact, and a bulk vehicle may require a slab. The suitability of the UHMWPE liner depends on the work temperature, the chemical environment, the material impact and the car structure, and the manufacturer provides the installation requirements. Each product should be matched to specific equipment in the project form to avoid the use of the same parameter across uses.
Tyres or tracked sizes and quantities must be present in the request for quotations, or different suppliers are likely to calculate on different assumptions. The procurement staff shall also require the description of the effective size, weight, number of attachments, packing units, container load and delivery cycle of each plate. The evaluation will be based on technical conformity, installation efficiency and turnover. Where key payloads or ground data have not been confirmed, the quotations should be marked as preliminary and the review retained.
