When discussing how to restore the surface following the evacuation of the temporary mine road, the objective should be to restore temporary movement, maintain equipment stability, improve the integrity of the discharge or extend the life of the vehicle. The withdrawal sites after the end of exploration or the relocation of the mining area often contain multiple objectives at the same time, while residual shredding, pressure belts and drainage changes are usually the first vulnerable areas to be exposed. Quantifying the problem would avoid the use of temporary products as a panacea.
The data can be reviewed in the “Equipment-basic-product-operated” column: the equipment bar records the axle load of the vehicle, the tyre landing, the road slope, the curve radius, the water-bearing rate and the grass-roots load, the base column describes the weakest areas, the product column sets out the specifications of the pavement, the operating column is written into the section cleaning and recycling pavements and the pine soil is shaped in accordance with the reclamation programme. If one of the four columns still relies on speculation, it is not a matter of urgency. Especially for products with the same nominal thickness, feedstock, processing, size differential and connection design may still differ.

Prior to implementation, a pre-operational meeting may be arranged to clarify who confirms the basis, who inspects the receiving and inspection pavements and who has the right to cease operations. Road boards are seen as interim layers rather than ground-based alternatives. The site is positioned according to numbering and drawings, and every section completed checks size, edge, connection or rigidity, without leaving all questions to the end. The rhythm should be lowered during the trial period to observe the re-emergence of residual shredding, pressure belts and drainage changes.
The site inspection should not simply be “normal”. The drainage vents, sews, edges and soft spots should be selected on a case-by-case basis and the anomalies should be classified into three levels: observation, restriction and decommissioning. In the event of repeated changes in debris, pressure belts and drainage in the same area, a project restoration order should be created. The removed plates or pads are cleaned, dry, flat and stored in salaried areas.
Receiving and inspection information shall keep the product batch, installation chart, site photographs, initial dimensions and trial running records. In the event of a subsequent change in debris, pressure belts and drainage, it can be determined whether the anomaly arises from initial installation, changes in condition or natural wear. For reusable pavements or leg pads, this set of records will also facilitate the rapid matching of suitable locations for the next transfer.
If the conditions on the ground are different from the assumptions in this paper, the application of the conclusions should be suspended and reassessed. In particular, lifting, drilling, ramping and self-lifting operations are subject to equipment instructions, risk assessment and local legal requirements. The creative plastics industry can assist in product selection on the basis of confirmed data, but final placement, operating licences and on-site custody are subject to approval by the responsible party for the project.
