In the first instance, the drilling platform was to be dealt with in the event of a backfilling of the site, in the form of “ground, equipment, materials and operations”. This post is typical of jobs that have recently been filled back and under pressured in an uneven manner. It is not a single parameter that is most in need of control at this time, but a local collapse may result in equipment being tilted. If only one layer of material is laid on the surface and no real load of ground, drainage or equipment is identified, movement appears to resume in the short term, with the possibility of subsequent shutdown, back-to-work or safety risks.
Data can be reviewed in the “Equipment-base-product-action” column: the equipment column records the total weight of the equipment, the maximum reversibility of the points, the height of the mast, the endurance of the ground, the level of the perforation and the conditions of the mud, the base column describes the weakest area, the product column specifies the length of the pavement and the leg pad, and the operating column writes to identify backfill thickness, perform load testing and set a flat cover. If one of the four columns still relies on speculation, it is not a matter of urgency. Especially for products with the same nominal thickness, feedstock, processing, size differential and connection design may still differ.

The field organization also decides to use effects. The area of operations should have clear traffic flow, quarantine coverage and abnormal parking standards, and the installation personnel should use loads that match the weight. Support systems must be confirmed by qualified personnel in conjunction with the equipment manual. In the event of the discovery of abnormal substrates that continue to sink, feeder overload, liner arches or connects, the use of the substrate must be discontinued and the reasons identified, and the problem cannot be covered by accelerated passage, repeated lifting or temporary pressure.
The site inspection should not simply be “normal”. Sedimentation, horizontality, full pedal contact and mud spills should be checked and anomalies should be classified into three levels of observation, restriction and decommissioning. In the event that repeated local collapses in the same area may result in a tilt of the equipment, a project restoration order should be created. The removed plates or pads are cleaned, dry, flat and stored in salaried areas.
In order to validate the programme, a representative route, a vehicle or a support point could be selected for a controlled trial, with observation cycles and exit conditions. The records should cover normal and most unfavourable conditions, with particular attention to the potential for equipment to be tilted by local collapse. Only when the test data are stable, the maintenance workload is acceptable and confirmed by project management and security personnel will it be appropriate to expand the application.
The safety floor does not change due to the tight working schedule. In the event of an unknown foundation, posturing of equipment in excess of the Manual, damage to components or failure to isolate persons, operations should be suspended and approvals upgraded. Any improvement in equipment that may be tilted by a localized collapse must be confirmed without introducing a new risk of slide, overload, trip or maintenance.
