The transfer period shall be broken down into stages of identification of drawings and samples, preparation of materials, production, inspection, packaging, booking and port operations. The supplier merely said “twenty days of delivery”, without indicating when it would begin to dispute after the colour confirmation or modification of the drawings. The procurement party should request a milestone date and make clear how delays in its own approval affect the ship ' s duration.
The certification of capacity is based on the same equipment and processes as the order, rather than the plant ' s gross product. Squeeze, thick plate pressure, CNC processing and packaging may be controlled by different processes, and any bottlenecks affect the completion of the container. Queries were asked about current production discharges, seasonal loads, equipment maintenance and back-up programmes, and vendors were asked to indicate the eligible quantities that could be steadily completed on a daily or weekly basis.

Customized orders require, in particular, change management. When the drawings are frozen and then re-holed, coloured or packaged, they generate back-work and waste. The vendor should have a version of the confirmation and change of the quotation process and the procurement party should set the final confirmation time. The progress of production can be verified through the first photo, the number of stages, the records of the tests and the containerization plan, rather than the general percentage of the daily queries.
Post-sale capacity is reflected in problem response and evidence handling. When there is a shortage of goods, a broken packaging or an abnormal size, the supplier should be able to provide, by batch, interim measures, reasons and corrective options. The procurement contract may agree on a time limit for notice, the required photographs and a record of measurements, supplements or credit treatment. Commitment to “career life” without process is of limited practical value.
When comparing suppliers, regular delivery times, surge capacity, evidence of timeliness, minimum replenishments, spare parts stocks and response time zones can be rated. In the case of a whole-box order, stabilization and traceability are often more important than very short but unverifiable commitments. The long-term cooperation would be more secure by first communicating and implementing with samples or smaller batches of observation.
