Compared raw materials cannot simply ask “is it new or not”. The buyer should first identify the performance required for the product and then ask the supplier to indicate the policy for the use of the resin type, material grade, additives, colour systems and recycled materials. HDPE ground protection mats, UHMWPE leg pads and dump truck bed liner carry different loads than wear and tear, and formulations suitable for one product may not be suitable for the other.
Reproduction is not simple or non-existent, and source stability, pollution control, ratio and batch management affect results. If the project expressly prohibits or limits the regenerative material, the specifications and contract should be included and the modalities of certification agreed upon. If a percentage is allowed, it needs to be based on performance tests and sample confirmation, rather than on colour or odor alone. Black products in particular have difficulty identifying formulations through their appearance.

Engineering plastic sheeting crowds out of production lines and raw materials processing environment (contribution material for the plastic network).
Comparable information includes work-related items such as density, stretching, shock, grinding, cooling or resistance to UVs, and check whether the samples are from the same product or similar material. The purchaser may also check the plate break, level, gas hole, layer, colour fluctuations and process stability. The fact that individual data are excellent does not mean that all batches are consistent, as important as retroactive and material control.
Vendor audits focus on raw material inventory, batch marking, mix, production records and the segregation of substandard goods. Ask if the clean edges are reused, how to control the ratio and how to prevent the mix when custom colour switching. For long-term purchases, the contract may provide for a certificate of approval, a sample retention and a notice of change, and the material level may not be replaced without approval.
The final comparison should be combined with actual product performance and full life costs. Low prices but large batch fluctuations can result in deformation, early wear and tear, and client complaints; materials with stable specifications are more advantageous for project acceptances and distributors. The management of raw materials through clear standards, endorsements and batches is more reliable than relying on an oral commitment.
