A leg mat cannot be stacked at will because of a lack of a single area. There may be slippages between two or more plastic pads, and new curves can be formed when contact between layers is incomplete; if the upper and lower plate sizes are different or the pedals tend to be biased, it is more difficult to determine the route of the payload. A thicker stack is not equal to a larger area of effective charge, nor can it automatically increase the base load.
When the calculation indicates that a larger area is required, preference is given to a plate of confirmed size and thickness or to the use of engineeringly designed support systems. In the event that the site needs to be evened or crossed, the material, the direction, the number of layers and the fixed means required by the equipment statement and the operational programme. Unauthorized piles of wood, bricks, steel and plastic sheeting are easily crushed, slipped or edged.
Bulking of legs and specification recognition.
The procurement party should distinguish between stacking and work. The warehouse was fully stacked for storage and shipment, and would have to be used on a block-by-block basis as approved. The images of the finished stacks displayed by the supplier cannot be understood as allowing multiple layers to be carried on site. The product description shall identify the individual recommended use, the footpad location, inspection requirements and prohibitions.
If the existing padboards are often insufficient, indicate that the inventory specifications do not match the equipment mix. The leasing company could set two to three sets of standard space in response to the equipment, and the project procurement should be completed with legs before entering the field. The larger pads would increase the weight and would need to be synchronized to carry ropes, carts or mechanical loads and could not wait until the day of the suspension.
In the request for quotations or review, the maximum reversibility of the legs, the size of the existing padboards, ground-based loads and field space is provided for the supplier to propose a single block product option. In any case where a multi-layer system is required, it should be approved by capable personnel in accordance with equipment requirements and engineering conditions. The clearness of this boundary in the statement of procurement will help to prevent on-site misuse of storage as an operational method.
